Ebooks & ejournals who lunch

If you want to find out more about using ebooks, ejournals and databases in an informal setting, then why not pop in to one of our lunchtime drop-in sessions? Expert library staff will be on hand to answer your questions on finding, accessing and downloading the ebooks, ejournals and databases provided for you by your libraries. Please do bring your phones, laptops, and tablets  if you have queries about downloading articles or ebooks.

There will be an entirely optional short e-resource-related quiz, if you complete it you can win a small prize. There will also be some supplier freebies such as bags and pens available for all, and maybe even some edible goodies.

Venue: Alison Richards atrium (ground floor)

Days: Tuesday 17th October & Monday 6th November

Time: 12.45 – 2pm (drop in anytime during your lunch break)

The Colleges on the Hill – ebooks drop-in session

If you want to find out more about how to find, use, and download academic ebooks, please come along to the Ray Kelly Room in Fitzwilliam College Library on Wednesday 28th October. The ebooks@cambridge team will be there to answer your ebook questions.

Please drop in anytime between 3.30 and 4.30pm, there’s no formal presentation, it’s just a chance for you to ask us any questions you may have about using the ebooks the libraries buy for you to help support your studies. If you simply want to know a bit more the team will also be happy to talk to you about e-books in general and why you should consider using them during your studies.
